I have been in nursing for decades.
In a several specialty areas-
from cardiac surgery and post operative recovery to emergency and trauma care. I loved the intensity of the work, but what I cherished the most was the nurse-patient connection built on trust and mutual respect.
When I transitioned out of hospital nursing, I realized how much I missed that relationship. At the same time, I noticed there are many women and men who don't have someone close to them with the medical skills to help them through critical first few days and could
benefit from my professional support.
That's why AFTERCARE NURSE
was born.

I will drive to and from surgery, and accompany you to your 24-hour follow-up appointment for continuity and peace of mind.
Whether you live locally and need care in your home, to you are traveling from out of town and are staying in a Hotel or Airbnb, I will be by your side to help you navigate recovery with excellent nursing care and attention.

Absolutely. I am happy to help with your support animal, I believe in the healing powers of pets. Please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
"What if I need help in the middle of the night?"
I am with you around the clock, so you will never be alone. You will have support, comfort, and professional care thought out your initial recovery - day and night.
"Will you talk to my family for updates?"
Your privacy is very important.
I will only communicate with the people you designate as a contact before surgery, and only with your permission - and always with your ability to hear the conversation.
